Welcome to Lizzie’s Embroidery Club!
I’m Lizzie, and I’ve been obsessed with the endless world of threads, textures, and colours for over 8 years.
For me, embroidery is a world without limits - whether I’m spending 500 hours on a giant, A1-sized floral octopus (you can see the full journey of him on my blog!) or stitching a quick floral hoop on a rainy afternoon.
I started the Club while teaching secondary school art in the South East, and my mission has always stayed the same: to prove that embroidery is for everyone. It’s not just 'something your Nan used to do,' and it definitely doesn't have to be scary or time-consuming. I’m here to sweep away the idea that it's too complicated and bring a modern, floral twist to the craft.
I’m all about making embroidery accessible and fun for our local creative community. You’ll find me popping up at markets or hosting embroidery workshops - always in a relaxed, 'stress-free' environment where you can find your own creative flow!
