I’m Lizzie, and I’ve been obsessed with the endless world of threads, textures, and colours for over 8 years.

 

For me, embroidery is a world without limits—whether I’m spending 500 hours on a giant, A1-sized floral octopus (you can see the full journey of 'He' on my blog!) or stitching a quick floral hoop on a rainy afternoon.

I started the Club while teaching secondary school art in the South East, and my mission has always stayed the same: to prove that embroidery is for everyone. It’s not just 'something your Nan used to do,' and it definitely doesn't have to be scary or time-consuming. I’m here to sweep away the idea that it's too complicated and bring a modern, floral twist to the craft.

Now settled in Bristol, I’m all about making embroidery accessible and fun for our local creative community. You’ll find me popping up at markets across the city or hosting my embroidery workshop series. We cover everything from the very basics to advanced 3D and textured stitching—always in a relaxed, 'stress-free' environment where you can find your own creative flow!
