Hey everyone!
I'm so excited to share my latest project with you all – a massive, A1-sized hand-embroidered piece! As someone who usually whips up A4 or A3 pieces in about a week, I decided to really challenge myself and go big this time.
This piece is a labour of love, and it's been so rewarding to watch it come to life. I started by painting the basic shapes onto the fabric, and now I'm hand-embroidering each flower and detail. The piece features an octopus surrounded by florals.
I'm really proud of how far I've come and the fact that I've stuck with it!
I'm so grateful for the quilting hoop I found at a charity shop – it's been a lifesaver, holding all this fabric! My goal is to have it finished by Christmas, so I can display it at my craft markets. But I'm also making sure to enjoy the process and not rush things.
It's been such a fun journey so far, and I can't wait to see the finished product. Follow me on Instagram to stay updated on my progress!
